PINCID
As we incorporate a broader range of colors into our painting materials, selecting the appropriate pigment for each task becomes more feasible. However, given the imprecision of human color memory, we often find ourselves opening multiple paint tubes to determine which contains the optimal color for our needs. The PINCID folder is an index that provides artists and restorers with immediate access to the chromatic, chemical, and physical characteristics of the various pigments that comprise all the paints and chromatic graphic materials in use. Each card presents real paint samples in three dimensions: full tone, tinting strength, and opacity. It also includes data such as Color Index Number, Date, Chemical Class, Chemical Formula, Refractive Index, Chromatic Description, Lightfastness, Permanence, and Drying Rate. This enables the selection of paints for both artistic work and restoration operations to be carried out with greater precision and professionalism.
PRODUCT FEATURES · Each folder contains 40 pigment cards, handcrafted and organized by color.
The selection of pigments to be indexed can be made by the customer, or a standard balanced folder can be chosen.
